Don't know if you all are interested in attending a
missions convention, but I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend going to this. Go alone if
you have too. It is awesome!!
Urbana missions convention occurs every three years.
It brings young people together from 120 countries and over 20,000 attend. They
have excellent worship, teaching, and you get to meet and talk with
missionaries(on furlough) from India, China, Korea, Africa, south America,
central America. From just everywhere. You'll get a feel first hand how great
and mightily God is working today. How he leads His people across the
world.
You will learn about missions(both domestic, foreign,
urban and rural), apologetics, witnessing, and muchmore. If you are into
collecting Christians books, they have a great book store. Books are marked
down 10-50% off. Just remember, books get heavy..:)
It'll transform your worldview of Christianity and
missions. It's a must for 18 to 25 year olds.
